A Sunny State of Mind for Your Summer Stories

The Chasing the Sun collection is the perfect companion for documenting your upcoming summer adventures or finally giving those favorite memories from summers passed a bright and breezy glow. Whether you are layering vibrant pool-themed stickers or playing with sun-drenched embellishments, these pieces bring an intentional and artsy energy to every story you tell. Just grab your favorite photos and get ready to make a splash with this sunny layout!

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of yellow sunshine designer paper as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of the pool designer paper to measure 3-3/4″ x 12″. Adhere the piece to the right side of the layout.

Step 3: Cut a piece of Bright White Cardstock to measure 8″ x 3-1/4″. Adhere the embellishments and stickers to create the title as shown above. Adhere this piece to a piece of Pink Razzleberry Cardstock that measures 8-1/4″ x 3-1/2″. Adhere this whole piece to the upper left corner of the spread.

Step 4: Create a journal box using a piece of Bright White Cardstock measuring 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″, then mat the box onto a piece of Pink Razzleberry Cardstock that measures 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″. Adhere embellishments and stickers to the mat as desired. Adhere this piece to the layout.

Step 5: Cut three pieces from a piece of Plum Cardstock to measure: (1) 6-1/4″ x 3-3/4″, (1) 6-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ and (1) 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″. Adhere them to the layout.

Step 6: Adhere photos that measure 6″ x 3-1/2″, 6″ x 3″ and (2) 3″ x 3″ to your Plum Cardstock mats.

Step 7: Adhere the remaining embellishments and stickers, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 8: Journal as desired.
