Happy Canada Day – Capture the Memories

Canada Day is always a fun family celebration for us and I always like to capture the memories in photos.  Over the years our celebrations have changed.  We always went to the Canada Day Parade in our hometown and fireworks that evening in the neighbouring town.  The last few years have changed with work commitments from the older children and documenting each year helps us remember the changes.

Photo Tips – ISO/Light Sensitivity

With today being National Camera Day—let’s finish up with series of Getting To Know Your Camera.

ISO – International Standard of Organization or before digital it was known as film speed and not “in search of”.  Well, we are, in fact “in search of” more light!

Low ISO – less light and less grain or noise.  High ISO – more light and more grain or noise.
