Happy Canada Day – Capture the Memories

Canada Day is always a fun family celebration for us and I always like to capture the memories in photos.  Over the years our celebrations have changed.  We always went to the Canada Day Parade in our hometown and fireworks that evening in the neighbouring town.  The last few years have changed with work commitments from the older children and documenting each year helps us remember the changes.

I always take a few parade photos each year of the floats and the participants.

Bar-be-ques and backyard fun are always great memories on Canada Day as well!  Make sure you capture who attended, who was the chef and the decorations!

Then there are the years that we decide to go to the cottage on Canada Day because the holiday falls on a weekend.  We still celebrate our beautiful country when we spend it quietly at the lake.

Family time on the holiday weekend is always the best!
