My Little Artist

Hello everybody! I am back with a layout I created using the Bookworm Designer Papers, embellishments and stickers. What a cute collection to scrapbook those school memories!

Every time my son comes home from school with a fun art project, I get excited. I love looking through his artwork and the one thing I can always count on while looking at his work, is that his little creatures are ALWAYS happy. This makes my heart happy. It just goes to show that he’s happy inside and out most days. And he’s so creative too.

I love that he enjoys simple things such as painting, drawing and coloring. He will spend hours at the kitchen table, making pictures for his classmates. He is thoughtful like that.

To create this layout, you will need:

• Black Dual-Tip Pen
• Bookworm Designer Paper
• Bookworm Embellishments
• Bookworm Photo Mats
• All-Purpose Scissors
• Tape Runner
• Foam Squares
• 12-inch Straight Trimmer

This layout was super easy to create. The photo mats, die cuts, and stickers made this layout come together in a snap. The first thing I did was print a few 3″x2″ photos (small enough to fit the die cut index cards) and adhered a few of the photos on the die cuts as shown.

I used the 12″x12″ Bookworm paper with the pencils as my base. Then I cut the orange patterned paper down to 11″x11″ and adhered it to the center of the base. I added the orange, blue and mint green Photo Mats as shown for the background.

Once I finished adhering the cards. I added my photos, journaling and stickers as shown.

I wanted to make the adorable painter tray stand out more so I added a few epoxy stickers and layered a star sticker with an epoxy star sticker on top of the star and adhered it to the layout using a foam square.
