Go Wild for Paw-some Animal Tracks Crafts

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Animals are everywhere in this world, from snow-covered mountains to the thick depths of a forest and even your very own backyard! Animals are awe-inspiring, and if you have photos and memories regarding to hiking, nature walks, trips to the zoo and camping (especially when paired with the Happy Camper collection, like these animal tracks crafts do!), then the Animal Tracks Border Maker Cartridge is a paw-some tool you’ve got to add to your craft room! To create these borders and card, you will need:

Explore Card

Step 1: Cut a piece of Light Gray Solid Cardstock to measure 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Using the 12-inch Trimmer with the Scoring Blade, score at 4-1/4″. Fold in half.

Step 2: Cut a piece of wooden blocks paper to measure 4″ x 5-1/4″. 

Step 3: Using the Border Maker System with the Animal Tracks Border Maker Cartridge, punch along the edge of three different shades and patterns of paper. Use the 12-inch Trimmer to cut the strips to measure 1-1/4″ x 5″. 

Step 4: Cut three strips of paper from different shades and patterns to measure 1″ x 5″. Place behind the punched animal tracks. Adhere strips to the front of the card.

Step 5: Cut a piece of the rustic stripes paper to measure 4″ x 1-3/4″. Adhere to card.

Step 6: Cut a piece of topography paper to measure 4″ x 1-1/2″. Adhere to card.

Step 7: Adhere stickers and embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Happy Camper Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of teal dots paper with the 12-inch Trimmer and the Deckle Blade to measure 3-3/8″ x 12″.

Step 2: Cut a piece of wooden blocks paper to measure 3″ x 12″. Using the Border Maker System with the Animal Tracks Border Maker Cartridge, punch along both edges of the paper. 

Step 3: Cut two strips of light tree bark paper to measure 1″ x 12″. Adhere behind the punched animal tracks. Adhere to the teal dots paper.

Step 4: Cut a piece of the blue animal tracks paper to measure 1″ x 12″. Adhere between the punched animal tracks.

Step 5: Adhere stickers and embellishments using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Outdoor Adventure Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of wooden blocks paper to measure 2-3/4″ x 12″.

Step 2: Using the Border Maker System with the Animal Tracks Border Maker Cartridge, punch along the edge of teal dots paper, using every other notch, so you are only punching three times.

Step 3: Cut three pieces of paper to measure 1″ x 2″. Adhere behind the animal tracks on the teal dots paper. Adhere to the right side of the border.

Step 4: Adhere a sticker border along the left edge of the teal dots paper. Cut a piece of stripes paper to measure 1/2″ x 12″ using the 12-inch Trimmer and the Deckle Blade. Adhere to the left of the sticker border.

Step 5: Adhere embellishments and stickers to the border, adding some with Foam Squares for added dimension.
