Blog contributor Sachiyo Omitsu is ready for a good scare — a scary-good Halloween scrapbook layout, that is! Take a look at this haunted house craft she put together to celebrate the spooky season — it may just give you goosebumps!

Sachiyo’s Inspiration

Do you remember your first haunted house visit? I still remember my very first haunted house when I was a child. Well, to tell you the truth, I only remember the fact that I’ve visited a haunted mansion but don’t remember what the inside looked like. I closed my eyes as soon as we entered the haunted mansion and didn’t see anything until we got out of the building. Later, I learned that it was a kid-friendly attraction and it was all about fun. I’d love to go back as an adult without closing my eyes! Do you love haunted houses and other spooky things?

Step 8: Cut two 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ pieces from Bronze Shimmer Solid Cardstock. Add the bronze mats to the cauldron black night sky mats. Add the lamplight border to some of the mats.

Step 10: Adhere stickers and embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

  1. Very cute! I have a bunch of Creative Memories things my daughter no longer uses. Any advice about how to sell/pass-on these items to other scrapbookers?
