August Completed Album Challenge PLUS A Dog Scrapbook Layout

It’s Aug. 26, and you know what that means! It’s the start of the August Completed Album Challenge AND it’s International Dog Day! If you’re close to finishing an album but need some inspiration to chase after, check out the layout below created with the Go Fetch! collection. See you and your completed album in the Virtual Crop Group!

If you completed an album this month (does not need to be from start to finish in August, just completed in August), make a short video flipping through each of the pages in your newly completed album. Then, post your video in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group with the hashtag #CompletedAugust2024 for the chance to win!

Dog themed scrapbook layout. — Layout by Melissa Ullmann — CM Independent Advisor

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use Beige Solid Cardstock as the base of the layout.

Step 2: Cut two pieces from the pawprints & bones paper to measure 3-1/2” x 10-1/2”. Adhere to the outside edges of the cardstock.

Step 3: Cut two pieces from the blue houndstooth paper to measure 1/2” x 12”. Adhere over the top of the previous pieces, approximately 1/4” from the outside edges of the cardstock.

Step 4: Cut two pieces from the yellow tennis balls paper to measure 1” x 7-1/2”. Adhere on the inside edges of the previous strips.

Step 5: Cut a piece from red dog words paper to measure 9-5/8” x 4-1/4”. Adhere to the middle of the layout.

Step 6: Cut three photos that measure 3” x 4”. Adhere to the previous piece.

Step 7: Cut one 4” x 3” mat for a title from the front side of red houndstooth mat paper. Adhere to the top middle of the layout.

Step 8: Cut one 4” x 6” mat for journaling from the front side of the red houndstooth mat paper. Adhere tucked under the red dog words paper, in the middle.

Step 9: Adhere stickers to the layout, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 10: Journal as desired.
