September Completed Album Challenge PLUS A Vintage Scrapbook Layout
With the end of the month, it’s an opportune time to reflect on the past — from the most recent memories to the more distant ones. Today we have a vintage scrapbook layout for an extra boost of inspiration!
If you completed an album this month (does not need to be from start to finish in September, just completed in September), make a short video flipping through each of the pages in your newly completed album. Then, post your video in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group with the hashtag #CompletedSeptember2024 for the chance to win!
Here’s an example of what your Completed Album Challenge video could look like!
For ALL the details on the Completed Album Challenge, check out this blog post.

Step. 1 Use Dark Sea Green Cardstock for the base of the layout.
Step 2. Cut a piece from the insert paper or scrap paper/cardstock to measure 4″ x 12″.
Step 3. Cut 1″ x 4″ strips from a variety of papers. Adhere to the insert paper piece/scrap that measures 4″ x 12″.
Step 4. Cut from the upper left corner to the bottom right corner with trimmer.
Step 5. Adhere half of the triangle to the bottom left corner and half to the upper right corner.
Step 6. Adhere large variety mats with photos to the layout, tucking some of the corners under the triangle pieces.
Step 7. Adhere a large journaling mat to the upper right side of the layout, trimming off any excess with a scissors.
Step 8. Fussy cut the “Life is Beautiful” piece from a mat. Adhere to the layout using Foam Squares. Optional: Use Brown Dual-Tip Pen to draw “faux” stitches on the outside edges of this piece.
Step 9. Journal as desired.
