January 2025 Virtual Crop
Let’s start the year off on right foot… with the January Virtual Crop! Get excited for four brand-new sketch challenges designed to help you kick-start your 2025 scrapbooking goals!

In this post, you will find ALL four sketches for this crop (these four sketches are for the entire weekend; no additional sketches will be posted), a downloadable PDF with the four sketches for your convenience, hashtags to use when posting your challenge layouts in the Virtual Crop Group, prize information and layout inspiration. This is about to be an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see what you create!
To ensure we see all your submissions for a chance to win, you’ll want to post each layout you complete as its own new post with the hashtag for that challenge. You have until Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 15 Jan., at 4:59pm AEDT) to submit your layouts for the chance to win a prize (more details on what you can win further down this post!). NOTE: The Prize Pack will be awarded to one (1) participant in each challenge. Valid only for products currently in stock (excludes products that are out of stock and expected to return).
We will award the prizes randomly, but to win, it must be evident you used the sketch we provided as inspiration to create a project using predominantly Creative Memories products. You have until Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 15 Jan., at 4:59pm AEDT) to submit your layout(s). Prize winners will be announced on Thursday, Jan. 16, at noon CT (AU: Friday, 17 Jan.).
Challenge #1
Collection Used: Noteworthy Days (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “Spacing for this layout will depend on which borders you use, so start by laying those and the 1 ½” x 12” strip down first. Then you can fit the remaining pieces in between. I love using the 2-Way Corner Rounder — it’s a quick way to generate a little extra interest to the same old rectangles!”
Challenge #2
Collection Used: Sun-Soaked (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “This layout is all about paper layers and pattern mixing. I used a beautifully busy patterned paper for my base, then layered the square, vertical block and horizontal strip — all cut from more tonal papers — on top. It shows just enough of the fun tropical pattern while the tonal papers provide a great backing for the un-matted photos.”
Challenge #3
Collection Used: Happy Together — SNEAK PEEK!
Noreen’s Tip: “You can achieve the gradual diagonal pattern that goes across both pages in two different ways. Start with a piece of 12” x 4” paper. If it has an allover pattern, cut from the bottom left-hand corner to 2” up from the bottom on the opposite side. You should be able to simply rotate the leftover piece and place it on the right-hand base page so the 2” sides both match. If you are using a paper with a directional pattern, you’ll need an extra 12” x 2” piece that you cut from the bottom left-hand corner to opposite top corner to get the graduated diagonal.”

Collection Used: Birthday Jubilee — SNEAK PEEK!
Noreen’s Tip: “This grown-up birthday collection features fantastic large embellishments and titles that make it easy to make a statement on your layout! The 6” x 12” vertical block and the horizontal strips can be cut from just one piece of paper, so choose one that has great contrast between the patterns on the two different sides.”
Virtual Crop Tracker
Get ready to scrap your way through the new year with our 2025 Virtual Crop Tracker!
Color in one shutter for each sketch challenge you complete during each monthly Virtual Crop in 2025. Once you’ve completed all 12 months’ sketch challenges (that’s 48 completed pages you’ll be adding to your albums), you can submit your tracker for a chance to be one of three grand prize winners! More information on how to submit will be shared in the Virtual Crop Group as we near the final sketch challenge.
