Your Own Way: From Little Moments to Big Memories

Whether it’s a quiet morning at home, a weekend adventure, or a milestone worth celebrating, the Your Own Way collection is perfect for every memory. To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use a sheet of the soft splatter designer paper as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Choose several designer and tonal papers. Cut 1-1/2” x 12” strips of each. Using the 12-inch Trimmer Scoring Blade, score each strip down the middle (3/4”). Fold a strip at the score line. Lay the long folded edge on the 45-degree angle on the 12-inch Trimmer and trim off the top corner. Slide the strip so the cut edge is on the 1” line (to the right of the cutting edge) and cut again. Repeat the length of the strip. Cut the rest of the strips the same way until you have the desired number/color of chevrons.

Step 3: Adhere nine chevrons along the bottom of the layout as shown, trimming off the two on the ends. Adhere eight more chevrons on the top of the layout, 1/4″ from the top edge.

Step 4: Cut a 12” x 7-1/2” piece from the light blue crest striped designer paper and adhere 1” from the top of the layout. Cut two 12” x 1/8” strips from the hexagons designer paper and adhere them on the top and bottom of the light blue piece.

Step 5: Cut a 5” x 3-1/4” piece from the light orchid brushstrokes tonal paper. Cut a 4-1/2” x 2-3/4” piece from the Stardust White Solid Cardstock and mount on top. Adhere, along with three 5” x 3-1/4” photos on the light blue piece of designer paper.

Step 6: Adhere a monthly title embellishment and stickers, popping some up with Foam Squares for dimension.

Step 7: Journal as desired.
