Digital – Mix & Match Layouts

I am a traditional scrapbooker  as well as a digital designer and two of my favourite embellishments are flowers and gems when I am scrapping traditionally.  So… you can only imagine my delight when the Mix & Match Digital Kits were introduced…and in so many beautiful colours!!!

I love layering different flower combinations along with the gems and the HUGE benefit when scrapping digitally is you never run out of your favourites because the supply is endless!  I am going to share a few pages I designed to show you different colour combinations and ways to decorate your pages with these “little gems”.

I love how the rich colours from each of the collections coordinates with the others.  Here I have used the Neutral, Royal Blue and Cranberry Mix & Match Collections and they compliment each other nicely.  The pops of red in the photos are pulled out by the cranberry flowers and Ruby ABC/123 Letters.

On this page I added neutral gems to the paper from the Neutral Mix & Match Paper Pack on the right to coordinate with the lights in the trees.  I love that I never run out of gems!  I love layering the flowers and each one has a different look.  The shadows on each of the flowers makes them pop off of the page!  I placed a photo of my husband and I on the larger photo and put a golden glow around the photo to make it stand out from the background photo.  I also put a golden glow around my title on the Swirly ABC/123 Letters.

Eggplant Mix & Match goes perfectly with my lupin photos!  I love how many flowers I can add to a page and NEVER run out of supplies!  I also love enlarging the flowers and gems but don’t lose quality by doing this.

The possibilities are endless with all of these gorgeous papers and embellishments!  These will be popping up in so many of my pages!!!

Happy Scrapping!

  1. Beth, I love your layouts for their ideas, but also for the many places in Maritime Canada that I’ve been that you scrapbook about!

  2. Beautiful Layouts with the new papers and embellishments. Thanks so much for sharing!!

  3. Lovely pages. Am anxious to get the mix and match digital kit I enjoy working with digital also. Am not happy with program I’m using. What do you recommend?

    1. Hi BJ, Thank you! I can’t really recommend one program over another because I have only used one. I can tell you I use Artisan by Forever as I started with this when it was Storybook from CM.
