March Reflection Page Using Happy Album Kit #15

You know what time it is! Let’s print our pictures, look back on the happy memories we made this month and reflect. Play some tunes, pour yourself a cup of coffee and grab your Happy Album – let’s create a March reflection page! You don’t want to miss this month’s sketch featuring the Sunshine Border Maker Cartridge (BMC) Punch! (Yes, you can use this on your Happy Album designer paper). I also show you how to create a fun two-page layout by folding your paper. Follow along as I walk through how to reflect on your best moments and personal growth in March with new journal prompts. Keep reading to find a March Journal Prompt Challenge, my reflection page layout (using our NEW kit!), and a giveaway to win the Happy Album Planner Bundle. Let’s scrap!

Goodbye March! As we head into April, let’s take a moment to look back on our happy moments from the past month. I had so much fun creating my March reflection page in my Happy Album and can’t wait to see how you create yours! This is the time to appreciate all the HAPPY in your life, the memories you created and check in on the progress of your goals. Reflecting and printing photos at the end of every month helps us to appreciate all the good things in our lives, motivate ourselves and get excited for the next month. I used Happy Album Kit #15 (it includes a new sticker sheet!) and a border punch to create my March reflection page – it’s so easy and takes minimal time. Grab your coffee cup, put on your comfy pants and pick up your Happy Album. It’s time to create!

A journal prompt is a simple statement that inspires you and gives you an idea of what to write about. It doesn’t matter if you’re a talented writer or a beginner, journalling in your Happy Album is a great way to unwind, keep up with your goals and prepare yourself for the upcoming month.

  • Your best memory
  • What made you most happy
  • Best place you visited
  • Progress of your 2019 goals
  • Exciting plans you made
  • Funny moment
  • What you want to make more time for next month
  • What you want to improve on next month
  • What you’re looking forward to next month

1. Punch

I started by using Happy Album Kit #15 (NEW!) and the Sunshine Border Maker Cartridge on the jade green designer paper. Don’t be afraid to use other Creative Memories products with your Happy Album! You can get creative and use any border punch you have and whichever designer papers you like best. This can be done using any of our kits!

2. Fold

Next, I folded the top of the jade green designer paper down about three inches. I used a Tape Runner to adhere the pages into my Happy Album. Then, I took the golden yellow lined paper and adhered it to the second page. Lastly, I took the rose gold patterned paper and folded it upward about four inches and adhered it on the bottom half of the golden yellow page. There you have it – you can create a vibrant patterned two-page layout in your Happy Album just by folding! (Does it get any easier?!)

3. Decorate

Let’s bring your March reflection page to life! For this step, I decided to cut the White Cardstock into journal boxes. You can cut any size you see fit! My journal boxes are roughly 2′ x 3′ inches. I printed off my photos using my Mini Canon Ivy Printer and adhered them to my pages. I then took the stickers from Kit #15 (see how cute they are?) and decorated. The stickers in Kit #15 include adorable sayings, accents for decorating your photos and more. I’m loving the vibrant patterns in this kit!

4. Journal

Using the white journal boxes, I then answered my March journal prompts and wrote about the happy memories I made throughout the month! I love taking time to reflect on my life and cannot wait to look back at all the memories I made this year.
