How much fun is it to finally get your hands on a new Happy Album kit? There are so many creative possibilities that come with each one that sometimes it’s overwhelming to choose a layout you want to begin with. If you’re looking for a new way to use Happy Album Kit #21 (or any other scrapbook kit!), we’re here to help! Keep reading to find easy-to-follow instructions to design a layout with the new kit, along with a sketch. Let’s get to it!
Each Happy Album kit comes with simple steps to put together a fun layout that suits so many occasions but you can never have too many options! It’s always exciting to make layouts your own, whether you take inspiration from the pages we’ve scrapbooked below or imagine something else entirely. To get you on your creative path, we’ve listed the directions for a new layout below. (P.S. Can we just take a minute to swoon over Kit #21 and those delightful, welcoming patterns?!)
- Print three photos (two vertical and one horizontal) and crop the vertical photos to 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and the horizontal photo to 5-1/2″ x 3-1/2″.
- Select two designer papers from Kit #21 and adhere them to the right and left side of the pages in your Happy Album.
- Using your 12-inch Trimmer, cut the remaining designer papers to measure 4″ x 5-3/4″ (two) and 5-3/4″ x 4″ (one). Mat your photos onto these pieces with Repositionable adhesive.
- Adhere the matted photos and designer papers in your Happy Album, as shown above.
- Decorate your layout with stickers in Kit #21.
There are many ways for you to make this layout unique – change the quote, use different patterns or re-arrange the photos. Regardless of what you try, the end result is a page that makes you smile!
