Creating a DIY Floral Card Using the Floral Circle Punch

There are so many beautiful things you can create with this punch, including a full floral circle and a DIY floral card! Read on to learn how to create those two projects and add pretty petals to your projects!

How to Punch a Circle with the Floral Circle Punch

Step 1: Start with a 6″ x 6″ piece of cardstock or designer paper.

Step 2: Align the paper so the corner is all the way inside the punch and the paper is flush against the punch’s edges.

Step 3: Punch four corners.

Step 4: Flip your paper over.

Step 5: Punch the four remaining corners.

How to Create a Card Using the Floral Circle Punch

To create this card, you will need:

Step 1: Cut a piece of Beige Cardstock to measure 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ using the 12-inch Trimmer with the Straight Blade. Then, switch to the 12-inch Trimmer Scoring Blade to score at 4-1/4″. Fold it in half to create your card base.

Step 2: Select a floral mat from the Daydreamer Variety Mat Pack and trim it down to measure 5-3/4″ x 4″. Adhere it to the front of the Beige Cardstock.

Step 3: Cut a piece of Beige Cardstock to measure 6″ x 6″. Then, use the Floral Circle Punch to create a circle mat using the 6″ x 6″ square. Follow the directions in the beginning of this post to create the circle. Cut the floral circle in half and adhere it to the card as shown using the Repositionable Tape Runner.

Step 4: Adhere the “You are what you love” sticker using Foam Squares and the embellishments and stickers as shown. Use a two small Foam Squares to adhere the heart to add dimension.

Step 5: Use Foam Squares to pop up the butterfly and adhere it to the card.
