Create a Magical Theme Park Scrapbook Layout in Five Fast & Easy Steps!

You might look at the Magic Awaits collection and immediately think of amusement parks and carnivals, but the daring designs and popping palette of bright red, yellow and black make it a versatile collection that can be used for lots of different occasions! Blog contributor Noreen Smith used photos from her son’s birthday party at an indoor playground with Magic Awaits Fast2Fab™ Refill Pages and was able to put all the fun of his special day into a spread in just five steps. And the bonus? A two-page layout was completed in about 15 minutes! Here’s how:

To create this Fast2Fab™ layout you’ll need:

Flip through the pages of the Magic Awaits Fast2Fab™ Album in the video below!

Step 1: Choose one of the two-page spreads in the Magic Awaits Fast2Fab™ Refill Pages. I used the spread with the black and white dots with the balloon designs – perfect for a party themed page!

Step 2: Mount your photos onto mats and arrange them as desired. The overall designs on the Fast2Fab™ pages make it easy to add photos of any size and orientation. Adhere your photos onto the pages with a Tape Runner. With the pre-designed pages, the layout is looking good already!

Step 3: Use the inside of the largest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern with the Green Blade to cut the “Today is Magical” sentiment from one of the mats into a 3-1/2″ circle. Mount it on the layout with Foam Squares, overlapping the photos and printed elements on the page.

Step 4: Add your choice of stickers. The pre-designed pages are already beautiful, so you don’t need a lot of embellishments to make a big impact! Try clustering a few together and mounting some with Foam Squares for added pop.

Step 5: Use a Black Dual-Tip Pen to write directly onto the page or onto a journal box from the Magic Awaits Variety Mat Pack. Adding the story behind the photos ensures that the special memories will never be forgotten. TIP: I also used the Black Dual-Tip Pen to draw the “strings” that cascade down from the balloons for a fun extra element.

I love how this bright and happy layout turned out! And even more, I love that I was able to create it in about 15 minutes… Fast2Fab™ for the win!
