Make Your Memories Radiate With This Beach Scrapbook Layout

What do you like most about the beach? Do you go for the feeling of the sand between your toes and sun on your face, the smell of the salty seawater or the sounds of the crashing waves? No matter what your answer may be, blog contributor Sachiyo Omitsu has a beach scrapbook layout for you that is simply radiant. Cue the good vibes and check it out!

Sachiyo’s Inspiration

One of the advantages to living in California is living amongst beaches and palm trees. The Vitamin Sea collection makes me really want to go to the beach and listen to the sound of waves. Have you gone to the beach yet this summer?

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the pale pink patterned paper as the base.

Step 2: Using the Clouds Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border from the upper and lower edges of the pale blue patterned paper. Adhere it to the base.

Step 3: Cut four circles using the inside of the medium Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern with the Red Blade from the ocean patterned paper. Using the same Circle Pattern and the Blue and Green Blades, cut four rings and four circles.

Step 4: Adhere the ring to the larger circle, score at 1/2″ and fold along the scored line.

Step 5: Score the smaller circles at 1″ and fold along the scored line.

Step 6: Adhere the circles as shown. Add a laser cut border to the bottom edge of the circles with Foam Squares.

Step 7: Adhere stickers and embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.
