November Completed Album Challenge PLUS A Happy-Go-Lucky Green Scrapbook Layout

November is the month of giving, and we want to give you a Completed Album Challenge in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group!

Here’s a refresher on how this monthly challenge works: If you completed an album this month (does not need to be from start to finish in November, just completed in November), make a short video flipping through your pretty-as-a-picture pages in your newly completed album. Then, post your video in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group with the hashtag #NovemberCropDontStop for the chance to be a lucky winner. Speaking of lucky, check out this happy-go-lucky green scrapbook layout to inspire you to cross the Completed Album Challenge finish line!

Here’s an example of what your Completed Album Challenge video could look like!

If you’re looking for a layout to create to finish your latest album, today’s post is here for you!

Green scrapbook layout with five photos, journaling and a title.
Layout by Krislyn Mattei — CM Independent Advisor

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of ombré wash paper as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a 4-1/2″ x 12″ strip of dollops paper and adhere along the left side of the layout, about 1/2″ from the edge. Crop a photo to 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and adhere on a 4″ x 6″ piece of multi-plaid paper. Adhere on the dollops strip as shown.

Step 3: Cut a 12″ x 3″ strip of multi-plaid paper and adhere along the bottom of the layout, about 1/2″ from the edge. Cut a 12″ x 2″ strip of leaf bursts paper and adhere on top. Adhere the leaves outline laser-cut border on White Solid Cardstock and fussy-cut around it. Adhere on the border.

Step 4: Adhere the “Lucky” laser-cut embellishment on White Solid Cardstock and fussy-cut around it. Do the same with the “Life” laser-cut embellishment on scattered dots paper. Mount on the layout as shown.

Step 5: Mat a 6″ x 4″ photo with a 6-3/16″ x 4-3/16″ piece of White Solid Cardstock. Crop three photos to 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ and mat with White Solid Cardstock or random dots paper cut to 2-11/16″ square. Mount on the layout as shown.

Step 6: Using the outside edge of the smallest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a circle with scattered dots paper. Using the inside edge of the largest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a circle with White Solid Cardstock. Mount the white circle on the scattered dots circle and adhere on the layout as shown. Add the lime green laser-cut circle frame on top. Tuck a leafy embellishment behind.

Step 7: Add additional embellishments and journal as desired.

Okay, scrappers, who is ready to take on the November Completed Album Challenge? Are you keen on this green scrapbook layout? We can’t wait to see what you post in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group!
