An Acreage Of Awesomeness: Farm Scrapbook Layout

There are so many complex and hard-working layers to living on a farm. Tilling the garden to get the best ripe, dew-kissed tomatoes, cucumbers, corn and other yummy produce. Feeding calves hearty grains bright and early in the morning. Collecting eggs from some mischievous chickens. Installing and maintaining a fence line. Harvesting crops and hauling materials with the help of a powerful tractor. And that’s just the tip of the haybale! Indeed, there are so many layers to the countryside… just like this farm scrapbook layout!

Farm-themed scrapbook layout with three photos, collaged paper background and stickers.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use Hot Fudge Solid Cardstock as the base for the layout.

Step 2: Using the 12-inch Trimmer, cut out the inside of the cardstock, creating a 1-1/4″ frame.  Set the inside piece aside.

Step 3: Cut down the linen paper to measure 11-1/2″ x 11-1/2″.  Adhere to the cardstock frame.

Step 4: Cut a variety of shades and patterns of papers from different-sized scraps. Adhere along the outer edges of the linen paper.

Step 5: Cut photo mats from the leftover cardstock from the middle of the frame (from Step 2) to measure (2) 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and (1) 6″ x 4″.  Adhere to the layout.

Step 6: Cut photos to measure (2) 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ and (1) 5-3/4″ x 3-3/4″. Adhere to the layout.

Step 7: Adhere stickers to the layout, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 8: Journal as desired.
