Add This Renovation Scrapbook Layout To Your To-Do List

Hammer out the finishing touches on your home reno spread with this handy-dandy layout! This layout features materials from the Riveting collection, including the Riveting Variety Mat Pack. Variety mat packs are great for building a professional looking layout quickly and easily (much faster than however long that D.I.Y. project of yours probably took). And not only do mats make your photos pop off the page, but they’re perfect for titles, too — see for yourself in this renovation scrapbook layout!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of Navy Solid Cardstock as the base of the layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of dark wood paper to measure 11-1/2? x 11-1/2?. Adhere to the layout.

Step 3: Adhere three large mats to the layout as shown. Layer the one in the upper-right corner with a smaller title mat on top. Adhere 4? x 6? photos to the other two large mats.

Step 4: Cut a large mat in half. Adhere the halved mats to the bottom edge of the photo in the middle mat. Cut two photos to measure 2-3/4? x 4?. Adhere to the halved mats.

Step 5: Adhere embellishments, using Foam Squares for added dimension.

Step 6: Journal as desired.
