Step Into Spring With This Spring Scrapbook Layout

Happy first official day of spring for those in the northern hemisphere! All of the sunshine and blooming flowers have us feeling inspired to scrapbook. To make a spring-forward layout, you can use materials from the Birds & Blossoms collection. By layering the border embellishments, you can add depth and sweet splendor to your spring scrapbook layouts like the one below!

Spring scrapbook layout.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use brown speckled paper for the base of the layout.

Step 2: Adhere and layer laser cut borders in the middle of the layout.

Step 3: Cut large variety mats in half to measure 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″.  Adhere three on the top of the border and three below the border.

Step 4: Cut five photos to measure 2-3/4″ x 4″.  Adhere to the mats.

Step 5: Cut 1/2″ strips from the floral “Smile” 4″ x 6″ mat.  Adhere along the upper- and lower-right edges of the mats, and the upper- and lower-left edges of the mats.

Step 6: Using the “Spring Fever” mat, cut a circle using the outside edge of the small Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern with the Red Blade. Tuck behind the borders in the middle for the title. Journal on the upper-middle mat.

What did you think of this spring scrapbook layout? Aren’t the flowers adorable?!

  1. Beautiful, and simple.Love how the side pieces turn this into windows with the border becoming a flowerbox. With different papers this layout can be used for many occasions.
