A Fresh Spring Layout

It’s still February, but most of us are ready for spring to arrive! Step into the season early with this spring layout that’s blooming with potential and creativity. Add the Springtime Soiree collection to your scrapbook supplies and get ready for a wealth of floral, spring layouts. Get started by checking out the one below.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the insert sheet from your paper pack as the base for the layout. Optional: Use cardstock. 

Step 2: Cut a piece of yellow lines paper to measure 4” x 12”. Adhere on the left side of the layout. 

Step 3: Cut two pieces of the green floral paper to measure 4” x ½”.  

Step 4: Cut two piece of the purple petals paper to measure 4” x ¾”.  

Step 5: Adhere these strips approximately ½” from the top and bottom of the yellow lines paper.

Step 6: Cut the mat in half, adhering one half angled along the center section.   

Step 7: Adhere the floral sticker border along the edge of the yellow lines paper.

Step 8: Cut four pieces of paper to measure 4” x 6” using the following papers: daisies, large flowers, multicolored stripes and diagonal plaid. Adhere on the right side of the yellow lines paper. 

Step 9: Cut four pieces of paper to measure 3-1/4” x 5-1/4” using the following papers: green floral, purple petals, pink scallops and blue plaid. Adhere to the tops of the previous pieces. 

Step 10: Using a scissors, fussy-cut the mat that says “bloom where you are planted.”  Adhere to the layout. 

Step 11: Adhere any additional stickers and layered border pieces you wish, adhering some with Foam Squares for additional dimension. 

Step 12: Journal as desired.
