A Layout To Celebrate Medical Heroes

Whether you want to feature a loved one who just graduated medical school, a doctor who helped your family or someone who saved your life, this recovery layout is the perfect way to honor them! With the new On the Mend collection, you can recreate this layout below which features an ambulance driving across the road in a city on a starry night. See how it’s done below.

Layout by Melissa Ullmann — CM Independent Advisor

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use Beige Solid Cardstock for the base of the layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece of blue crosses paper to measure 12” x 2-3/4”. Adhere to the top edge of the layout.

Step 3: Adhere the ambulance border embellishment to the top of the blue crosses paper, with the bottom edges aligning.

Step 4: Adhere the hearts/heartbeat border embellishment to the bottom edge of the previous border, adhering with Foam Squares.

Step 5: Cut a piece of teal stripes paper to measure 12” x 1-1/2”. Adhere along the bottom edge of the layout.

Step 6: Cut a piece of flowers paper to measure 12” x 1-1/4”. Adhere along the top edge of the teal stripes paper.

Step 7: Cut a piece of red hearts paper to measure 12” x ½”. Adhere along the top edge of the flowers paper.

Step 8: Use a large red mat and two smaller teal mats for photos. Adhere photos that measure 3-1/2” x 5-1/2” and (2) 2-1/2” x 3-3/4”. Adhere photos/mats to the layout, tucking the large mat slightly under the flowers paper.

Step 9: Adhere the red plus border sticker along the seam of the flowers and teal stripes paper.

Step 10: Use scissors to fussy cut the clipboard from the mat. Adhere to the layout.

Step 11: Adhere additional stickers as desired, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 12: Journal as desired.
