Autumn Tailgate Memories with Grateful Harvest

Celebrate autumn’s cozy colors and crisp air with this Grateful Harvest layout! Just like an autumn tailgate, it layers together festive patterns, earthy tones, and warm details—perfect for preserving your favorite autumn memories with the Grateful Harvest collection.

To create this layout you will need:

• Potter’s Clay ink or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Bright White Solid Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Grateful Harvest Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Beige Solid Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Grateful Harvest Tailgate Embellishments or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Foam Squares or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• 12-Inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Photo Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
• Black Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

Step 1: Use Bright White Solid Cardstock for the base of the layout.

Inking the Edges: As you cut each piece of the tonal paper, ink the edges with Potter’s Clay ink. To do this simply rub the ink pad directly on the paper edges.

Step 2: Cut a 12″ x 2-1/2″ piece of the burnt orange plaid tonal paper and adhere it to the top of the base. Next, cut a 12″ x 1/2″ strip of the green wash tonal paper and place it below the burnt orange. Then cut a 10″ x 6″ piece of the burnt orange wash tonal paper. Adhere this piece 1″ from the bottom, right, and left edges.

Step 3: For the photo mats, cut two 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ and one 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ pieces of the green wash tonal paper. Set them aside while you cut two 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and one 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ pieces of Beige Solid Cardstock. Layer the cardstock on top of the green wash pieces to create photo mats.

Step 4: Adhere the largest mat 3-1/4″ from the top and 1-1/4″ from the left edge of the page. The lower right mat goes 1″ from the bottom and 1-1/4″ from the right edge of the page. Place the lower left mat 1/8″ to the left of the first mat so it overlaps the photo above.

Step 5: Adhere the Tailgate embellishments as shown, popping them up with foam squares as desired. Journal below the lower photos.
