The September 2025 Virtual Crop is HERE!
It’s officially time for the September Virtual Crop! You’re in for a weekend packed with fresh inspiration, connection and scrap-happy fun. Get excited for four brand-new sketch challenges designed to make scrapbooking your memories a breeze.

In this post, you will find ALL four sketches for this crop (these sketches are for the entire weekend; no additional sketches will be posted), a downloadable PDF with the four sketches for your convenience, hashtags to use when posting your challenge layouts in the Virtual Crop Group, prize information and layout inspiration. This is about to be an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see what you create!
To make sure we see all your submissions for a chance to win, you’ll want to post each layout you complete as its own new post with the hashtag for that challenge. You have until Tuesday, September 16, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 17 September, at 2:59pm AET) to submit your layouts for the chance to win a prize (more details on what you can win further down this post!). NOTE: The Prize Pack will be awarded to one (1) participant in each challenge. Valid only for products currently in stock (excludes products that are out of stock or expected to return).
We will award the prizes randomly, but to win, it must be obvious you used the sketch we provided as inspiration to create a project. You’re highly encouraged to use Creative Memories products, but it’s not a requirement to win. You have until Tuesday, September 16, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 17 September, at 2:59pm AET) to submit your layout(s). Prize winners will be announced on Thursday, September 18, at noon CT (AU: Friday, 19 September).
Challenge #1
Collection Used: Noteworthy Days (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Note: “This sketch is a fantastic option for showcasing four photos on a single-page layout! With a mix of smaller and larger photo spots, it gives you flexibility to highlight focal images while still including supporting shots. Seasonal embellishments, like leaves and acorns, add extra charm while keeping the focus on the photos!
If you’d like more inspiration, join Noreen during Sunday’s Intermission Video, where she’ll be sharing easy methods for formatting and printing those smaller photos so they fit perfectly into sketches like this one!”
Challenge #2
Collection Used: Grateful Harvest (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Kimberly’s Note: “I love the diagonal design in this sketch. Since it is a one-page layout, the embellishments beginning in the lower left and cascading into the upper right really provide excellent eye movement for the two focal photos in the center. Attaching them at a slight angle opposite from one another enhances that focal point.”

Collection Used: Copper Canyon 2 (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Kimberly’s Note: “Wow, this paper is just stunning! I wanted to create a very linear design with a landing space for the photos. By layering the soft colors under the deep browns and coppers, the eye immediately follows the photos from left to right. The Ornate Ripple Border Punch created the perfect finishing layer.”
Challenge #4
Collection Used: Croptoberfest (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Kimberly’s Note: “This paper is so pretty. It has rich, deep jewel tones and those stunning pages with chrysanthemums in the corners. I wanted to create the unexpected and allow the other papers and embellishments to pop off the pages. There are so many ways to use the Chrysanthemum Punch, and I wanted to use them as scatter elements in my clusters.”

Color in one shutter for each sketch challenge you complete during each monthly Virtual Crop in 2025. Once you’ve completed all 12 months’ sketch challenges (that’s 48 completed pages you’ll be adding to your albums), you can submit your tracker for a chance to be one of three grand prize winners! More information on how to submit will be shared in the Virtual Crop Group as we near the final sketch challenge.
