The holidays always bring a moment of pause, and I love to reflect on the year that’s passed. So many big moments, trips, and exciting days can easily become a bit blurry in the rush of things. That’s why I love looking back through my journals to sharpen those memories, which helps me realign with clarity for the year ahead. I keep one journal per year to ensure a clear, chronological narrative. This also makes it easy to go through my photos and select the best shots for my Scrap Journal.

This year, I’m treating myself to a new Scrap Journal and all the decorative supplies that align with my vision for 2025. I love leaning on Peekaboo Pockets to showcase all the mementos I accumulate throughout the year (as a bit of a hoarder)—it gives a new, organized angle to traditional junk journaling by creating a highlighted memory focus. Seeing all these mementos helps me easily choose the best photos for visual storytelling! This holiday season, I’m gifting an active experience. I’m planning dedicated time with my mom to work on our albums together.
