It’s our favorite holiday… National Scrapbook Day! We are ready to celebrate accordingly by scrapping the day away! We hope your day is filled with scrapbooking, crafting, photos, friends and FUN. So, let’s shake it up with a special card!
Upon flipping my calendar to today, I realized it is one of the SWEETEST days of the year.
National Chocolate Day.
Need I say more?
This prompted me to run out and buy some……wait for it……CHOCOLATE!!!
Are you like me, and always looking to bless someone with a sweet little treat every now and again?
This Japonism Bundle of products is absolutely stunning. It was inspired by Japanese Art. It has a soft pastel hue to it, and can be used to create projects for baby, family, a picnic at the park, flowers, outdoors, etc.
Let’s create a couple of cards using these Limited Edition products from our friends in Japan.
Earth Day is a time for us to remember the environment and how important it is for us to protect it. While people honor it different ways such as turning off the lights for Earth Hour or picking up trash on the side of the road, I have a little tradition of my own…
And it of course includes crafting!
Seriously…I could live in this enchanted wonderland with adorable fox and other cute critters.
No babies here. It’s been 20 years since my “baby” was born. However, that is no reason at all to not HAVE to HAVE the new Woodland Whimsy Collection.
This collection is so versatile. It is not just for babies, at all! Such beautiful, fun-loving colors are sure to put a smile on any face. Imagine getting a card in the mail with this refreshing collection, and the whimsical critters! Those would make anyone smile.
Today is International Women’s Day, so let’s remember and celebrate the women who have been impactful in our lives.
For some, it may have been an inspirational teacher you had growing up, or perhaps a boss or supervisor who went the extra mile to show you success. For me, it was my maternal grandmother, Leona, who we affectionately called “Grandma Onie.” My goal in this life is to be half the woman she was. Let me tell you a little bit about her.
There is so much sentiment and meaning behind a card.
There is even more if you create the card yourself!
It doesn’t have to be difficult. (…and, really it is not!)
Start with a card base. I usually use cardstock for this, so that it is sturdy.
Layer on a few stickers or embellishments, and WAAAA-LA! You have yourself a beautiful card! Personally, I believe that layering is the key to beauty when making a card. Use those foam squares between each layer! Just take a look at the dimension.
