This Layout Is A Gem!

Set your memories in stone with this alcohol ink-inspired layout! Filled with butterflies, gemstones and, of course, wonder, the Full of Wonder collection includes everything you need to make your photos stand out and shine. Keep reading to see how you can recreate this layout.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of purple ice & teal ink paper as the base of the layout.

Step 2: Cut 1? off the right and left edges of the horizontal “Life is picturesque” mat. Adhere the mat approximately 1/4? from the left edge of the layout and about 1? down from the top edge.

Step 3: Adhere the 6? x 4? “remember this:” mat on top of a 6-1/2? x 4-1/2? eggplant mat. Adhere to the right of the “Life is picturesque” mat.

Step 4: Adhere a 1? piece that you cut from the “Life is picturesque” mat along the right edge of the large eggplant mat.

Step 5: Cut 6-1/2” x 4-1/2” mats in half, so that you have four pieces that are 3-1/4? x 4-1/2?. Adhere so that they overlap each other at varying heights.

Step 6: Cut photos to measure: (3) 3? x 4? and (1) 5? x 2-1/2?. Adhere to the layout.

Step 7: Cut three strips from the dark sea green watercolor paper to measure 12? x 1/2?. Adhere near the top, middle and bottom of the layout as shown.

Step 8: Adhere embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 9: Journal as desired.
