These petite little albums are totally compact and totally cute! And, because they’re so totally easy to create, you’ll be able to make oodles of them for everyone on your list.
Here’s what you’ll need to create one:
- Cardstock – red & white
- Christmas Joy Paper Pack
- Christmas Joy Stickers
- 2-Way Corner Rounder
- Paper Trimmer
- Tape Runner
Step 1: Cut a piece of red cardstock to measure 12″ x 4.25″.
Step 2: Remove blade from paper trimmer, then insert red strip into trimmer and close arm. Using Multi-Purpose Tool, score red strip at 3-1/4″ and 6-5/8″. Rotate piece of paper and insert other end into trimmer. Score at 1-5/8″ and 1-7/8″:
Step 3: Using Corner Rounder, round all 4 corners on red strip:
Step 4: Cut 3 pieces of green patterned paper to measure 3″ x 8″. Fold each piece in half, then round each of the 4 corners on each piece:
Step 5: Cut 3 pieces of white cardstock to measure 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″, then round just two corners on each rectangle. Adhere one white piece to each green strip as shown:
Step 6: Apply tape runner to the backside of the half of the green strip that does not have a white rectangle adhered to it, then adhere to red strip:
Step 7: Doodle along edges of white cardstock pieces, then add embellishments as desired:
Step 8: Cut a strip of green patterned paper to measure 1-5/8″ x 8-1/2″ and a strip of white cardstock to measure 1-1/8″ x 8-1/2″. Fold album up, then wrap each band around album and adhere band (tight enough to hold album closed, yet loose enough to slip on & off for viewing of album) around album and adhere with tape runner:
Step 9: Adhere NOEL sticker to red cardstock and trim around. Adhere over cut end of strip, then add snowflake stickers to finish:
Step 10: Add photos and journaling to inside of album, then fold up again and place in front of a lovely little holiday setting to make it look way cooler! :)
Again, here’s the inside of your album. We’ve placed black cardstock where photos would go in your album.
Happy creating!
Love the idea from yesterday and today of scoring paper with the 12″ trimmer and the multi-purpose tool. Genius! All the ideas have been so cute! Thank you!
That is a really cool idea! Thanks for sharing.
Great gift idea, especially for all those photo cards of the kids every year.
I did mine, and it turned out great! Thanks!
I’m thinking way beyond Christmas on this one. So many themes would work Love it..
