Moms are some of the coolest people on the planet. And, because they’re so fab, we’ve asked the creative geniuses on our blogging team to share ideas to celebrate those special ladies with a fun Mother’s Day themed blog hop!
First, we’re thrilled to share this stunning layout celebrating several generations with a quilt-style page layout design.

To create this lovely layout, you’ll need:
- 2 Sheets of wood paper from Fall In Paper Pack
- Hello Baby Girl Paper Pack
- Cardstock – White & Black
- Black ABC/123 Stickers
- Hello Baby Girl Stickers
- Fresh Picks Embellishments
- Watercolor Love Embellishments
- Black Pen
- Foam Squares
- Tape Runner
- 12” Trimmer
- Shape Maker with Square Cartridge
- Border Maker with Button Chain Cartridge
Step 1: From the Hello Baby Girl Paper Pack, cut 50 two-inch squares using the Shape Maker with Square Cartridge or the 12” Trimmer.
Step 2: Using Tape Runner, adhere the squares in a diagonal pattern on the wood paper.
Step 3: With black pen, add pen stitching to each square.
Step 4: Punch 4 button borders from the black cardstock using the Border Maker with Button Cartridge.
Step 5: Mat photos with coral paper from the Hello Baby Girl Paper Pack.
Step 6: From the white cardstock, cut journaling boxes. The “Mother” box is 5” wide by 1.25” high. The other boxes are 1/2” high. Write your saying and trim to the lengths that you need. Add black pen stitching to the journal boxes.
Step 7: Adhere photos, button borders and journal boxes as shown.
Step 8: Using Foam Square Adhesives, adhere embellishments as shown.
Nextup is this perfectly petite mini album in a box. It’s oh-so-pretty, and she’ll love it – guaranteed.

The pretty band just slides right off for easy access to the wonderful surprise inside:
And, when you take hold of the end, a beautiful folded mini “album” magically appears:
Isn’t it the sweetest thing you’ve seen? And oh-so-easy.
Here is what you will need to create this fun one-of-a-kind gift for Mom:
- Fresh Picks Paper Pack
- Fresh Picks Embellishments
- Evergreen Cardstock
- 12-Inch Straight Trimmer
- All Purpose Tool
- Scissors
- Foam Squares
Step 1: Cut a piece of cardstock to measure 6″ x 6″.
Step 2: Using the Multi Purpose Tool and 12-Inch Personal Trimmer, score each side at 1-1/2″:
Step 3: Using a scissors, cut in to the corner/fold from each side, as shown below.
Step 4: Place adhesive on the outer side of the flaps. Fold up sides to create the bottom portion of the box:
Step 5: Cut a piece of floral paper to measure 4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″.
Step 6: Using the Multi Purpose Tool and the 12-Inch Personal Trimmer, score each side at 1/2″ (back side of lid shown here):
Step 7: Using a scissors, cut into the corner/fold from each side as shown above.
Step 8: Place adhesive on the outer edges of the flaps. Fold the sides over to adhere, and create the top of the box.
Step 9: Cut two pieces from evergreen cardstock to measure 12″ x 2-3/4″. Score at 2-3/4″ increments on both pieces. Adhere the end flaps over each other to create long accordion-folded piece. Adhere the full strip to the bottom of the box, from the inside:
Step 10: Cut 16 pieces from patterned paper to measure 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. Adhere to each segment of the cardstock strip.
Step 11: Add photos, embellishments, and stickers as desired.
Step 12: To create the band around the box, cut a piece of paper to measure 9-1/8″ x 1-1/2″. Wrap around the box adhering to itself, so that you can slide it off when opening.
Step 13: Add embellishments to the top of the strip.
Step 14: Gift this box full of love to your mom, or a special “mom” figure in your life. Enjoy!
