What are your family traditions for Thanksgiving? Here are some photos tips to help you capture your Thanksgiving memories.
#1 – Travel
Do you travel to be with family on Thanksgiving weekend? Our family quite often travels to the family cottage to celebrate together. The road to the cottage is beautiful in the fall!
#2 Location
Capture a photo of where you gather to celebrate. Our favorite spot is the cottage!
#3 The Chef
A photo of the chef or the food cooking. Do you cook a turkey? A photo of your favorite traditional food at the table.
#4 Carving
My Dad is the expert carver! Who carves your turkey?
#5 Desserts
The selection of pies made by my Mom are always delicious! Do you have a traditional dessert every year?
#6 Table Setting and Decorations
Whether your table setting is fancy or rustic, it is always nice to capture that memory with a photo!
#7 Fall Colors and Leaves
The fall colors are so beautiful and can be different every year or do you sometimes have snow for Thanksgiving weekend? Capture the beauty!
#8 Who is coming to dinner?
Do you have the same people join you every year for dinner? Do you have new babies, new spouses, new friends this year?
#9 Favorite Memory
What is your favorite memory from the weekend or your Thanksgiving dinner? My favorite memory from this particular year was that it was an unseasonably warm day and we went out for one last boat ride! I love this photo of all of the cousins!
#10 What are you most thankful for this year?
Family, friendships, food, children, health, peace, love….
