Hi everybody. It’s Nicole with a fun winter layout using the new Glacier Designer Paper Pack, Designer Stickers, and the Variety Mat Pack. The blues in this collection are beautiful! I must admit that I said “oooooooh” when I pulled this gorgeous collection out of the box! And it doesn’t stop at the blues… I can’t get enough of the cute little birdie stickers. :)
This collection is perfect for scrapbooking those winter photos! Although we did not get much snow last year, we got maybe an inch or two. Edward was excited to make a snowman, but I had to gently tell him that we weren’t getting that kind of snow. So we went outside so he could eat the snow and then throw fluffy snowballs at mommy for about twenty minutes.
To create this 12×12 layout, you will need:
- Glacier Designer Paper Pack
- Glacier Designer Sticker Pack
- Glacier Designer Variety Mat Pack
- Snowflake Trio Decorative Punch
- Border Maker System with Snowman Border Maker Cartridge
- All-Purpose Scissors
- 12-inch Straight Trimmer
- Tape Runner
- Foam Squares
- Precision Point Adhesive Pen
- Black Dual-Tip Pen
I used the blue and white striped paper for the base. Then I cut a 11″x11″ square from the white patterned paper and adhered it to the center of the base.
Using a piece of scrap from the white patterned paper, I punched a strip of snowmen using the Snowman Border Maker Cartridge and the Original Border Maker System.
I cut the “snowbound” mat down to approximately 6″x2″ then used my All-Purpose Scissors to cut a “v” at both ends. Then I added the “Love this time of year” sticker below the sentiment.
I printed two black and white photos and cropped them down to 3″x3″ and adhered them at the top of the layout as shown. I added the “winter” sticker above the photos then I adhered the “snowbound” banner below the photos.
I used the Snowflake Trio Decorative Punch to punch a few snowflakes from the snowflake mat.
I used the Precision Point Adhesive Pen and a few foam squares to adhere the snowflakes and snowman border as shown. Then I cut the “warm & cozy” sentiment from the Variety Mat Pack and adhered it between the photos as shown.
I used a Black Dual-Tip Pen to hand journal my story at the bottom below the banner.
Once the journaling was complete, I added a few more stickers to complete the layout.
What do you think about this winter collection? Isn’t it adorable!?
Thanks so much for visiting today!
