On the 2nd Day of Cropping…

12-Days-of-Cropping-Creative-Memories

On the 2nd Day of Cropping, Creative Memories gave to me an idea using two photographs…

Using a Black 12″ x 12″ Refill Page is the perfect canvas for a layout showcasing 2 photos (or more by creating more ornaments with photos).

Layout created by Sachiyo Omitsu- Advisor

To create this layout, you will need:

Cut a piece of triangle patterned paper to measure 6” circle, 5” circle and 2 ½” circle.  For 5” circle, use the purple side.

Cut pictures 4” circle and 5 ½” circle, using the Custom Cutting System.

Adhere 4” picture on 5” circle, and adhere 5 ½” picture on 6” circle.

Cut a piece of poinsettia patterned paper to measure 4” circle.

Cut a piece of pink patterned paper to measure 3 ½” circle.

Make the top of ornament as shown.

Using the Lace scallop border punch, punch a border from the gold cardstock.

Using the snowman border punch, punch a border from the gold cardstock.

Cut the lace scallop border and the left scrap of snowman border as shown.

Adhere the ornament tops to all the circle papers. Adhere circles to your page.

Draw a dotted line using a Gold Metallic Pen.

Using the Border Maker System with the Star and Midnight Star Border Maker Cartridges, punch stars from the silver cardstock.

Adhere stars to your page.

  1. Really like this page!! I can’t wait to see the pages with more pictures, sometimes I have a bunch of pictures from an event and want to use them all.

  2. Love this! This is a theme that could be carried over many pages, matting more/less pix as desired. Bravo!

  3. Very creative use for the tops of the ornaments. Don’t have the scallop border so will have to see what else looks good. Thank you.
