One Scrapbook Layout, Six New Adventure Themes
Every adventure has a story worth preserving. Whether you’re exploring castles, wandering through museums, making a splash at a water park or stepping into a magical world, the Adventure Theme Bundles are designed to help you document the memories that make each journey unforgettable.
With six destination-inspired themes to choose from, there’s a bundle for every kind of adventure. Today we’re sharing a scrapbook layout created with the Making a Splash Bundle. Follow along with the instructions below, then keep scrolling to choose your own adventure and discover the theme that’s perfect for your next memory-keeping project.
To create this layout, you will need:
Step 1: Use a piece of pool icon designer paper as the base for this layout.
Step 2: Trim the blue wave designer paper to 10″ x 8″, and adhere it to the center of the layout. Trim teal designer paper to measure 10″ x 2-1/2″. Use the 13″ x 13″ Cutting Mat and Cutting Mat Layout Ruler to help center and adhere the strip 3/4″ from the top edge of the layout.
Step 3: Use the Whitecapped Waves Border Punch to punch a border from Blue Solid Cardstock and a border from Bright White Solid Cardstock. Use Micro-Tip Scissors to cut off the top waves from the bright white border and adhere it, layering it on top of the blue border as shown. Trim the border to measure 10″ and adhere it about 1/2″ from the bottom edge of the teal strip.
Step 4: Trim a border sticker to measure 10″ and adhere it under the punched border covering the seam of the two pieces of designer paper.
Step 5: Cut (4) 4-1/2″ x 3″ photo mats from Bright White Solid Cardstock. Crop (4) photos to 4-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ and adhere them to the mats. Adhere the matted photos to the layout as shown.
Step 6: Cut a 9-1/4″ x 3/8″ strip from Bright White Solid Cardstock. Use a Navy Dual-Tip Pen to add journaling and adhere the strip underneath the photos.
Step 7: Cut (4) 3″ x 3″ squares from Bright White Solid Cardstock. Use the 12-Inch Trimmer with the Scallop Blade to cut the squares in half on the diagonal. Use the halves with the scallop shape.
Step 8: Cut (2) 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ squares from yellow sun designer paper. Cut the squares in half on the diagonal and adhere them to the bright white triangles. Adhere the layered triangles to the four corners of the layout.
Step 9: Adhere stickers as shown using Foam Squares for added dimension.
