On the 9th Day of Cropping, Creative Memories gave to me an idea using nine photographs…
Martha shares with us how to create a layout using nine photos, both as individual gifts or one giant gift.

To create this layout, you will need:
- Navy, Eggplant and Evergreen Cardstock
- Sugarplum Paper Pack and Embellishments
- Holly Border Punch
- Poinsettia Punch
- 12” Straight Trimmer
- Scissors
- ABC/123 Stickers
- Tape Runner and Repositionable Tape Runner Refill
Use the pink patterned paper as the base for this layout.
Photo sizes are as follows reading from left to right, top to bottom:
- 2-1/2 x 3-1/4, 2-1/4 x 3-1/4, 3-1/4 x 3-1/4
- 2-1/4 x 3-1/4, 3-1/4 x 3-1/4, 2-1/2 x 3-1/4
- 3-1/4 x 2-3/4, 3-1/4 x 2-1/2, 3-1/4 x 2-2/4
All Cardstock mats should be 1/2” larger than the photo sizes.
Use scraps from the Sugarplum Paper Pack to “decorate” the packages. Cut 1/2” strips to use as the “ribbon”, punched poinsettias holly borders to decorate and use the scissors to cut out bows.
Using the 12-Inch Straight Trimmer, cut a 1 1/4” strip form the Navy Cardstock to use as the border on the right side.
Add gift tags from the Sugarplum Embellishments to a few of the presents as journaling boxes.
Adhere all pieces to the base as shown.
Next, is a variation of the previous layout, but as one giant gift!

To create this layout, you will need:
- Evergreen, Navy and Eggplant Cardstock
- Sugarplum Paper Pack and Embellishments
- Poinsettia Punch
- 12” Decorative Trimmer
- 12” Straight Trimmer
- Corner Rounder
- Black Pen
- Tape Runner and Repositionable Tape Runner
Use the gold patterned paper from the Sugarplum collection for the base of this layout.
Cut a 10″ x 10″ square from the Eggplant Cardstock and round the corners with the Corner Rounder.
Using the Straight Trimmer cut 2 strips to measure 3/4” x 12” from the lavender patterned paper. Adhere these to the square as shown, wrapping the excess around to the back.
All pictures are 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”. Adhere to square leaving 3/4″ border all around pictures.
Cut a 1-1/4” x 12” strip from the Navy Cardstock and adhere one of the “borders” cut from the Sugarplum Paper Pack.
Adhere all of these pieces as shown to the base layer.
Next it is time to put on the bow to your package…punch out several poinsettias from the patterned papers and a few from the Evergreen Cardstock, adhere to the top of your package.
Using the 12” Decorative Trimmer, cut two 3/4” x 12 “ strips from the same lavender patterned paper as the previous ribbon. Repeat this with the Evergreen Cardstock. Cut these in half, cutting a “v” in the end of the ribbon Slide under the 2 corner photos and the bow.
Add a tag for journaling, and call it a page complete!
