Oh how life changes to quickly. Little ones grow up. Even though we wish they would stay little for ages. Take advantage of it. Play with balloons, eat the ice cream, lick the sucker—cause some day the opportunity will be missed.
To create this layout, you will need:
- Imagine Tone on Tone Paper Pack
- Imagine Designer Print Paper Pack
- Imagine Stickers
- Teardrop Lattice Border Punch
- 12-Inch Straight Trimmer
- Black Dual-Tip Pen
- Tape Runner, Repositionable Tape Runner Refill, and Foam Squares
Use the yellow patterned paper as the base for this layout.
Cut two pieces from the heart patterned paper to measure 1/2″ x 12″ and 1-1/4″ x 12″. Adhere to the top and bottom edges of the layout.
Cut two pieces from the black patterned paper to measure 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ for the photo mats. Adhere to the upper right side of the layout, overlapping them slightly.
Using the circle patterns with the Custom Cutting System, cut a circle using the medium circle with the red blade. Adhere this by tucking it under the left side of the left photo mat.
Cut a piece from the Black Cardstock to measure 3″ x 12″.
Using the Teardrop Lattice Border Punch, punch two borders from the red dotted paper and two borders from the yellow dotted paper.
Adhere the borders using repositionable adhesive to the piece of Black Cardstock at an angle. Use a scissors to cut away any excess paper. Continue this step until the remainder of the Black Cardstock is covered. Adhere this piece to the top edge of the heart patterned paper at the bottom of the layout.
Add border stickers to the top and bottom edges of the piece with the borders.
Adhere stickers to the layout, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.
Cut a few pieces of White Cardstock to measure 1/2″ wide and varying lengths for journaling.
Adhere photos to the photo mats. Photos measure 4″ x 6″.
Happy Creating!
I’m going to like the new teardrop lattice punch! I see red and green strips with some silver woven in it for Christmas pages this year – thanks for the inspiring ideas!
Great idea!
Love how you used the lattice punch!
