How much fun are road trips? There’s nothing like getting a group of friends or family together and heading off toward a destination together. If you’ve been on a road trip, you know that the journey is just as fun (if not more fun) than the destination. You’re bound to make memories mile after mile and the Scenic Route collection captures them all from coast to coast. Check out this road trip scrapbook layout and get started on yours before your next big trip! (And don’t forget the snacks!)

To create this layout, you will need:
- Scenic Route Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Scenic Route Laser Cut Border Embellishments or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Aqua Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Repositionable Tape Runner Refill or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Brown Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

Step 1: Use Aqua Cardstock as the base for this layout.
Step 2: Cut a piece of cardstock to measure 12″ x 4″. Cut several strips of paper at varying widths (3/4″, 1-1/2″). Adhere the strips at angles on the cardstock. Trim away any excess paper from the edges using the 12-inch Trimmer. Adhere the cardstock and strips to the bottom edge of the layout.
Step 3: Cut a strip of the aqua patterned paper to measure 12″ x 1″. Adhere it along the top edge of the previous piece.
Step 4: Cut a strip of cream patterned paper to measure 12″ x 1/2″. Weave it through the laser die cut and adhere it to the top of the aqua patterned paper.

Step 5: Adhere the mountains/cactus laser die cut to the top edge of the aqua patterned paper.
Step 6: Cut a piece of dark blue paper to measure 12″ x 3/4″. Adhere it along the top edge of the layout.
Step 7: Adhere two photos measuring 6″ x 4″ just below the strip. Journal as desired.
