Create Two-for-One Projects: DIY Autumn Cards (Part Two)

Nobody wants to be wasteful when scrapbooking! If you can find any extra way to get the most bang for your buck, you’re probably going to do it! This blog post shows you how to take the leftover paper from the borders you created in this blog post and turn them into beautiful DIY autumn cards! Take a look at how you can reuse and re-imagine these papers!

Did you like the border ideas, which get cut up into two pieces–using one portion for 8×8 pages? In this post, you will see how to add the rest of those pieces to create beautiful fall-themed cards.

Using the pictures as your guide, make twelve cards with your remaining border pieces. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, please refer back to Create Two-for-One Projects: Autumn Scrapbook Border Ideas (Part One).

  1. Gorgeous autumn cards, Krislyn! I can see using the black and grey tone Moments to Memories Word Embellishments for other sentiments on these cards, too. I think the neutral look would compliment the autumn colors well. Also, it would be easy to use your idea of the Border Maker System and stand alone Border punches borders to make borders from other decorative Paper Packs to make cards for any season!
Thanks so much for the ideas! Simple and sweet!!!

  2. Great card ideas. Could aslo make nice journaling cards for in your 12×12 album layouts. Thznos for the inspiration.
