Link Your Layouts Together with these Chain Scrapbook Borders

You can cause a chain reaction of creation with the Cable Chain Border Maker Cartridge! This border maker joins layout after layout with a geometric chain link design, which adds some linear symmetry to any layout or spread. Best Friend Border

Step 1: Cut a 2″ x 12″ strip of blue patterned paper for the base.

Step 2: Punch two borders with the Cable Chain Border Maker Cartridge with Goldenrod Cardstock. Punch another border with red stripe patterned paper.

Step 3: Overlap one goldenrod border on the red stripe patterned border and adhere them to the base so that just half of the red cable chain border sticks out.

Step 4: Cut a 1-1/2″ x 12″ strip of dog patterned paper and adhere it to the right side of the base, overlapping the cable chain borders, as shown. Adhere the second goldenrod cable chain border along the left side of the border.

Step 5: Top with “My Baby,” “Best Friend” and heart stickers, popping some up with Foam Squares.

Dog Person Border

Step 1: Cut a 2-5/8″ x 12″ strip of red stripe patterned paper for the base. Cut a 2-1/4″ x 12″ strip of blue patterned paper and mount it on top. Cut a 2″ x 12″ strip of dog toy patterned paper and mount it on top of that.

Step 2: Punch a border with the Cable Chain Border Maker Cartridge with Goldenrod Cardstock and cut it in half length-wise. Punch another border with blue patterned paper, mount it on a 1/4″ x 12″ strip of red stripe patterned paper and adhere it in the middle of the border. Adhere the goldenrod cable chain halves above and below the blue border.

Step 3: Add the dog, paw prints and “Dog Person” stickers, popping some up with Foam Squares.
