DIY Paper Projects For National Scrapbook Day

Did you know that this Saturday is National Scrapbook Day? National Scrapbook Day (“NSD”) is a day for scrapbookers to come together (virtually this year!) to celebrate memory keeping and album creation galore. We’re offering an assortment of HOT free NSD virtual events that you’ll want to RSVP to join us for this weekend. To build up excitement in the meantime, blog contributor Tina Kistinger decided to take some previous DIY paper projects from the CM blog and re-create them using exclusive NSD products (more about those below). Check them out and get inspired for this weekend’s big celebration!

RSVP to Join Us for These Free Virtual NSD Events

Looking to get your scrapbooking fix this weekend? Then look no further than our upcoming NSD Worldwide Virtual Crop, followed by our FIRST NSD Happy Hour Virtual Crop! It’s going to be the best place to celebrate (and say cheers to!) National Scrapbook Day!

Now, For Today’s DIY Project Ideas

To create these projects, you’ll need:

NOTE: These exclusive NSD products are usually only available for purchase to Advisors and/or through Advisors (and if you have an Advisor, they may have some available that they could porch-drop you).

If you don’t have a local Advisor with kits on hand, given this year’s extraordinary circumstances, we’re opening kits to anyone who would like to purchase them online.

Advisors also have access to a Coordinating Cardstock Sampler Pack that complements the products above and are hosting virtual events for NSD and beyond. You can find an Advisor to connect with here.

Now, let’s check out the projects! Click on the blog titles to find the instructions for how to make them yourself!

DIY Tags

Originally made for Valentine’s Day goodie bags, these tags would also be an ideal way to send some NSD love to any scrapbooker you may be missing during these times.

Simple DIY Tea or Chocolate Holders

For this project, Tina switched out the tea for Ghirardelli chocolate squares, making for a sweet addition to this weekend celebration!

DIY Paper Pocket Souvenirs

This project was originally made for Croptoberfest, but when you add the new NSD papers, they make for a wonderful springtime snack! Bring on the chocolate!

How will you be celebrating National Scrapbook Day this weekend? (Hint: Hopefully by joining us for our virtual events!) Let us know in the comments below!

  1. This is so cute! It will make a lovely way to let older friends and neighbors know I’m thinking about them! Door step drop offs in baggies.

  2. Wow I love these! The NSD pack this year is SO sweet! Love the strawberries! I made sure to share your event on my blog. Can’t wait to get crafting this weekend!
