Harvest Crisp Creations With These Fall Scrapbook Borders and Card

So many writers, artists and other creative individuals have long been inspired by the sensational time of year that is autumn — crisp breezes and even crisper apples, golden sunlight and beautifully painted treetops of orange, red and burnt sienna. If you’re yearning to embrace the season with open (flannel- or sweater-clad!) arms, then get started with these fall scrapbook borders and card!

Hello Card

Step 1: Cut a piece of the Dark Green Solid Cardstock to measure 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score at 4-1/4″ with the Scoring Blade. Fold in half.

Step 2: Cut a piece of a grid tonal paper to measure 4″ x 5-1/4″. 

Step 3: Adhere a navy border sticker vertically on the left side of the grid paper.

Step 4: Cut two pieces of burnt orange cable knit sweater designer paper to measure 1/4″ x 5-1/4″. Adhere along the sides of the navy border sticker.

Step 5: Cut a piece of marigold dots tonal paper to measure 4″ x 1-3/4″. Adhere to the grid paper.

Step 6: Cut a piece of olive green dashed stripes designer paper to measure 3-3/4″ x 1-1/2″. Adhere to the marigold dots piece.

Step 7: Cut a piece of purple dots tonal paper to measure 3-3/4″ x 1″. Adhere to the olive green piece.

Step 8: Adhere the “Hello” laser cut title embellishments to the purple paper.

Step 9: Adhere leaf stickers, using Foam Squares for added dimension.

Life Memories Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of olive green dashed stripes designer paper to measure 12″ x 2-1/2″ for the base of the border. 

Step 2: Cut a piece of navy gingham designer paper to measure 11-1/4″ x 2″. Adhere to the border.

Step 3: Using the medium Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern, cut from the inside edge with the Blue Blade on marigold dots tonal paper. Adhere this piece behind “Life” laser title embellishment.

Step 4: Using the medium Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern, cut from the inside edge with the Green Blade on burnt orange leaves tonal paper. Adhere behind the “Life” laser title embellishment.

Step 5: Cut a piece of navy gingham designer paper to measure 3″ x 3/4″. Adhere behind the “Memories” laser title embellishment.

Step 6: Cut a piece of burnt orange leaves tonal paper to measure 3-1/2″ x 1″. Adhere behind the “Memories” laser title embellishment.

Step 7: Adhere the laser title embellishments to the border using Foam Squares.

Step 8: Cut the leaves border sticker to fit behind the laser title embellishments.

Step 9: Adhere embellishments/stickers to the border.

The Best Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of Black Solid Cardstock to measure 1-1/2″ x 12″ for the base of the border.

Step 2: Cut a piece of multi-hued stripes designer paper to measure 1-1/4″ x 12″. Adhere to the border.

Step 3: Cut four pieces of various tonal papers to measure 2″ x 3″. Layer on top of each other, offsetting each piece.

Step 4: Cut a piece of burnt orange leaves tonal paper to measure 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″. Adhere behind the “The best” part of the laser title embellishment.

Step 5: Cut a piece of marigold dots tonal paper to measure 1-1/4″ x 1/4″. Adhere behind the arrow part of the laser title embellishment. 

Step 6: Adhere the laser title and stickers/embellishments the border using Foam Squares on some for dimension.
