Celebrate the US of YAY: USA Scrapbook Layout

The Fourth of July is such a fun time for many families across America. Backyard cookouts with hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon and beverages with family members and your li’l “firecrackers,” red-white-and-blue parades full of military observance and remembrance, fantastic and fiery fireworks displays and so much more. Well, if you want to celebrate your U.S. pride all year round, then show your stars and stripes support with just that — the Stars & Spirit collection, that is! Psst, these items are also perfect for the upcoming Memorial Day observance!

Be proud and patriotic with this USA scrapbook layout!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Cut light blue textured stars paper to 11-1/2″ x 11-1/2″ and adhere to rich berry red chevron paper.

Step 2: Cut kraft paper tan paper to 12″ x 4-1/4″. Crop and add photos to fit. Adhere this photo panel about 3-1/2″ from the top of the layout. (Photos here are 2-1/2″ x 4″, 3-1/4″ x 4″, 2-3/4″ x 4: and 2-3/4″ x 4″.)

Step 3: Add the three wavy flag border stickers near the top of the layout.

Step 4: Cut 1-1/4″, 1″ and 3/4″ strips from a variety of papers. Use Micro-Tip Scissors to create ribbon with a notched end. 

Step 5: Adhere ribbon pieces underneath the photo panel.

Step 6: Layer and adhere additional stickers with Foam Squares for added dimension.

Step 7: Journal with Dual-Tip Navy Pen.
