Rule The Classroom With This School Themed Scrapbook Layout

“Learning never exhausts the mind.” — Leonardo da Vinci

Learning always exercises the mind, from practicing cursive to performing in choir, gaining knowledge in physics and studying history… school is cool! And today, you can learn how to make this school themed scrapbook layout to add to your album (year)book!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the red apple designer paper as the base.

Step 2: Using the 12-inch Trimmer, cut two 1″ x 12″ strips from the school supplies designer paper and two 1″ x 12″ strips from the stripes designer paper. Mount horizontally along top and bottom edges of the base page.

Step 3: Mount a chalkboard alphabet border sticker along the seam between the two paper strips at the top of the page, and a pencil border sticker strip along the seam between the two paper strips at the bottom of the page. Mount blue stick figure border stickers directly onto the base page above and below the paper strips as shown.

Step 4: Adhere three 4″ x 4″ photos across the middle of the page.

Step 5: Using the inside of the heart/hexagon Custom Cutting System Pattern and the 13×13 Custom Cutting System Mat, cut one hexagon from Black Solid Cardstock from the Red Blade and one from White Solid Cardstock with the Green Blade. Mount the white hexagon onto the black hexagon to use as a journal box.

Step 6: Add sticker clusters as shown or desired, using Foam Squares to add dimension. Journal with Black Dual-Tip Pen on the cardstock hexagon and add faux stitch marks around the edge to finish.
