While Canada may be the second-largest country in the world (at 9.98 million square miles, it’s second only to Russia in terms of landmass!), it’s first-rate in our books… especially when Canada Day rolls around! Bring on the red-and-white delight today and every day (and maybe some Montreal smoked meat or poutine on the side) with this Canada scrapbook layout from fellow Canadian and Product Development Creative Manager, Noreen Smith!

To create this layout you will need:
- Canadian Pride Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Canadian Pride Stickers
- Border Maker System with Canoe Wave Chain Border Maker Cartridge or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Personal Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Repositionable Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Foam Squares or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Black Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

Step 1: Use a piece of the white Canadian icons paper as your base.
Step 2: Cut two 2″ x 12″ strips of small maple leaves paper with the 12-inch Trimmer. Adhere to the outside edges of the base page with Tape Runner.

Step 3: Cut a 4″ square of the red chevron paper and adhere it in the middle of the base page with Tape Runner. Tip: Use the markings on the 13×13 Custom Cutting System Mat to easily align your paper!
Step 4: Crop two photos to 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and two to 5-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. Cut four 5-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ photo mats from the dots paper. Adhere photos onto mats with Tape Runner and mount over top of chevron paper square as shown.

Step 5: Punch a border from the dots paper with the Original Border Maker System and the Canoe Wave Chain Border Maker Cartridge. Make sure to save the leftover punched out canoes and scalloped shapes!
Step 6: Adhere the reserved scalloped shapes along the top edge of the base page with Repositionable Tape Runner.
Step 7: Adhere the canoe order approximately 1/2″ up from the bottom edge of the page with Repositionable Tape Runner. Flip over the reserved canoe shapes and adhere them into the negative spaces on the border. Tip: Since the reverse pattern of this paper was an ombré gradient, make sure the canoes echo the gradient by arranging from light to dark.
Step 8: Add stickers and journal as desired.
