December 2023 Virtual Crop
As we’re rounding out the end to 2023, we might be hearing the reminiscing tune of “Auld Lang Syne” whirling through the air. So how about we “Cheers!” and raise our layouts to our old (and new!) friends and the memorable days behind us by scrapbooking during the appropriately timed December Virtual Crop!?
Psst, you’ll also be happy to hear there will be VCs in 2024 (more on those below!) and some other awesome virtual experiences and challenges, too!
If this is your first time participating in a Virtual Crop and you would like a quick step-by-step guide of what to expect before you jump in, you can get ALL the details about Virtual Crops in this blog post, including how to participate (in our Virtual Crop Facebook Group), supplies you’ll need, examples of challenges, the types of prizes and more.
Know what you’re looking for? Find it faster here:
In this post, you will find ALL 4 sketches for this crop (these 4 sketches are for the entire weekend; no additional sketches will be posted), a downloadable PDF with the 4 sketches for your convenience, hashtags to use when posting your challenge layouts in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group, prize information and layout inspiration. This is about to be an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see what you create!
To ensure we see all your submissions for the chance to win, you’ll want to post each layout you complete as its own new post with the hashtag for that challenge. You have until Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 13 Dec., at 4:59pm AEDT) to submit your layouts for the chance to win a prize (more details on what you can win further down this post!). Again, we’re so excited that you’re here — happy scrapping!

NOTE: The Prize Pack will be awarded to one (1) participant in each challenge. Valid only for products currently in stock (excludes products that are out of stock and expected to return and products that are not in-house due to global shipping delays).
We will award the prizes randomly, but to win, it must be evident you used the sketch we provided as inspiration to create a project using predominantly Creative Memories products. You have until Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 11:59pm CT to submit your layout(s). Prize winners will be announced on Thursday, Dec. 14, at noon CT (AU: Friday, 15 Dec.).

Challenge #1

Collection Used: Nordic Winter or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “When you’re following a sketch with lots of layers, conserve paper by ‘gutting’ the base or second layer or by eliminating some of the paper behind the photos. No one will ever know!”
Challenge #2

Collection Used: Christmas Cheer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Nicole’s Tip: “I started with a 9″ x 9″ base and adhered down strips of paper at varying widths and some slightly longer than 9″ because I wanted to angle them. Then, I just trimmed off the excess with the All-Purpose Scissors! There’s no right or wrong way to create the strip base!”
Challenge #3

Collection Used: Adventure Parks or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “I used Fast2Fab™-Inspired Designer Paper for the base pages for an instant border design. I also fussy-cut the title from a variety mat and fussy-cut the word stickers to match!”
Challenge #4

Collection Used: Silver & Gold or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia) — Hint: This collection and border punch is currently discounted and part of our Last Chance Promo!
Nicole’s Tip: “When using a frame punch, like the Damask Flourish Frame Punch, you want the piece you’re punching to be at an even measurement (6″ x 6″, 8″ x 10″, etc.). To create my frame, I used a piece of 10″ x 10″ paper. I cut the gray piece behind my photos at 7-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ so I could see the pretty frame!”
Take Advantage Of The Last Chance Promo!

For a limited time while supplies last, you can get a set of 4 exclusive Seasonal Gnome Embellishment Packs FREE for every $140 USD | $190 CAD | $210 AUD you spend on Last Chance products in the Deals>Last Chance category on the website!
