Pops Of Personality: New Year’s Eve Scrapbook Borders And DIY Card With Champagne Flute Details
Champagne and sparkling wine are common libations on New Year’s Eve — so much so that more than 360 million glasses of the fizzy bubbles are consumed on the final day of the year! Whether it’s fancy Champagne (Fun fact: If spelled with a capital C, then it means it comes from the Champagne region of France!) or sparkling white grape juice, we raise our glasses to you and your memories with these New Year’s Eve scrapbook borders and DIY card with champagne flute details! Cheers!

To create these borders and card, you will need:
- Showtime Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Showtime Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Showtime Embellishments & Showtime Flocked Embellishments
- Tip: Substitute with the Showtime Stickers or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Gold Shimmer Solid Core Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- White Solid Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Champagne Toast Punch or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Custom Cutting System with Circle Patterns or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Foam Squares Variety Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Repositionable Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Micro-Tip Scissors or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

Party Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of gold Art Deco fans designer paper to measure 12” x 1-3/4”. Gently fold each end and cut at a slight angle to create a “V”.
Step 2: Cut a piece of eggplant stars tonal paper to measure 11” x 1-1/2”. Gently fold each end and cut at a slight angle to create a “V”. Adhere to the border.
Step 3: Using the inside edge of the smallest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a circle from navy chevrons designer paper. Adhere to the middle of the embellishment.
Step 4: Using the inside edge of the smallest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern with the Green Blade, cut two circles from Eggplant Solid Cardstock.
Step 5: Using the inside edge of the smallest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern with the Blue Blade, cut two circles from navy chevrons designer paper. Adhere to the middle of the eggplant circles.
Step 6: With the Champagne Toast Punch, punch two sets of champagne flutes from gold Art Deco fans designer paper. Adhere to the middles of each circle.
Step 7: Adhere circles and embellishments to the middle of the border using Foam Squares for added dimension.
Step 8: Adhere gems as desired.
Celebrate Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of White Solid Cardstock to measure 12” x 2”.
Step 2: With the Champagne Toast Punch, punch several sets of champagne flutes from various papers. Adhere at random on the cardstock. Trim off any excess with scissors.
Step 3: Cut a piece of Gold Shimmer Solid Core Paper to measure 12” x 2-1/4” with the 12-inch Trimmer and either the Wavy Blade or Straight Blade. Adhere the cardstock piece on top.
Step 4: Cut a piece of black dots and stripes designer paper to measure 12” x 2-1/2”. Adhere the previous pieces on top of this piece.
Step 5: Cut three various pieces of paper to measure 1” x 3”. Cut a “V” into the end of each piece at varying lengths. Adhere to the border, overlapping slightly.
Step 6: Adhere the “Celebrate” embellishment just above the ribbon pieces.
Step 7: Adhere gems as desired.
Cheers Card

Step 1: Create the card base. Cut an 8-1/2? x 5-1/2? piece of White Solid Cardstock. Using the 12-inch Trimmer and the Scoring Blade, score along the long edge at 4-1/4? and fold in half.
Step 2: Cut a piece of navy chevron designer paper to measure 4” x 5-1/4”. Adhere to the front of the card.
Step 3: Cut a piece of the burgundy velvet designer paper to measure 4” x 5-1/4”. Adhere to the inside of the card.
Step 4: Open the card up and align the medium Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern near the top-center of the card, cutting from the inside edge with the Red Blade, to create the “window” to the card.
Step 5: Using the inside edge of the largest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern and Gold Shimmer Solid Core Paper, cut with the Blue Blade first. Without moving, then cut with the Red Blade. Adhere the “ring” around the “window” of the card.
Step 6: Cut a piece of Gold Shimmer Solid Core Paper to measure 3-3/4” x 1-3/4”. Adhere the “Cheers” embellishment to the top of the piece. Add this whole piece to the bottom of the card with Foam Squares for added dimension.
Step 7: With the Champagne Toast Punch, punch from Gold Shimmer Solid Core Paper. Adhere to the burst embellishment. Adhere this piece to the middle of the open window/circle.
Step 8: Adhere an embellishment to the top of the fine fold shimmer ring with Foam Squares for added dimension.
