Flashback Fun: Scrap Your Favorite 2000s Nostalgia

Celebrate your favorite memories from the 2000s and 2010s with this bold “Through the Years” scrapbook layout! Featuring layered strips, a jumbo circle accent, and colorful matting, this design is both stylish and fun.

To create this layout you will need:

• Through the Years: 2000s–2010s Paper Pack or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Through the Years: 2000s–2010s Stickers or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Purple Ice Solid Cardstock or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Custom Cutting System or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Jumbo Circle Pattern or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Trimmer or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Tape Runner or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Repositionable Tape Runner or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Foam Squares or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )
• Black Dual?Tip Pen or ( Shop Canada | Shop Australia )

Step 1: Use a piece of Purple Ice Solid Cardstock as the base of the layout.

Step 2: Using a piece of designer paper, cut two strips that measure 12? x 3/4? and 12? x 1/2?. Adhere to the edges of the layout.

Step 3: Using a contrasting piece of paper, cut two strips that measure 12? x 1/4?. Adhere one strip along the edge of the 3/4? strip.

Step 4: Cut a piece of double-sided designer paper to measure 6? x 12?. Cut into 2? segments. Adhere next to the 3/4? strip, alternating front and back sides of the paper.

Step 5: Adhere one of the 1/4? strips along the edge of the 2? segments.

Step 6: Using the CCS Jumbo Circle Pattern, cut a portion of a circle by placing the desired paper along the 6? vertical line on the CCS Mat. Place your ruler along the 1? vertical line from the left edge and align the Jumbo Circle pattern along the ruler’s edge. Cut on the inside with the red blade. (See photo.)

Step 7: Adhere the portion of the circle along the edge of the 1/4? strip.

Step 8: Cut photo mats from designer paper to measure one at 6-1/2? x 4-1/2? and two at 4-1/4? x 4-1/4?. Adhere to the layout.

Step 9: Cut a double mat from the same pattern as the circle piece to measure 6-1/4? x 4-1/4?. Adhere to the 6-1/2? x 4-1/2? mat.

Step 10: Adhere photos that measure one at 6? x 4? and two at 4? x 4? to the mats.

Step 11: Adhere a border sticker along the edge of the 1/2? paper strip.

Step 12: Adhere stickers to the layout, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 13: Journal as desired using the Black Dual?Tip Pen.
