Step 1: Use Bright White Solid Cardstock as the base for this layout. Prepare to ink by applying Place and Peel Tape around the outer edges of the 5×5 Diamond Lattice Stencil.
Step 2: Using Songbird Blue Ink, stencil the diamond lattice pattern in the lower right corner, the middle of the left edge and on the right edge and bottom of the page. Splatter the stenciled areas with Purple Ice Ink.
Tip: When you are using a stencil like this, start in the center and then use a lighter hand as you go a little further out to give you the appearance of fading.
Step 3: Cut one 3″ x 10″ piece of light blue designer paper. Dovetail one end by making a small cut up the center of the paper, then cutting from each corner to the center. Stencil the diamond lattice pattern with Songbird Blue Ink along the top and bottom left edges. Splatter the stenciled areas with Purple Ice Ink.
Step 4: Adhere the light blue piece 1-1/2″ from the left edge and against the top edge of the page. Cut one 6″ x 6″ piece of hydrangea designer paper and adhere it 2″ from the left edge and 1-1/2″ from the top edge.
Step 5: Cut one 10″ x 3″ piece of light blue hydrangea designer paper and adhere it 1″ from the left edge and 2-1/2″ from the top edge. Cut one 5″ x 5″ piece of green plaid designer paper and adhere it 3″ from the right edge and 2″ from the top edge.
Step 6: Cut one 5-1/8″ x 3 1/8″ piece and one 4-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ piece of dark blue designer paper to create mats for one 5″ x 3″ photo and one 4″ x 3″ photo.
Step 7: Adhere the larger photo mat 2-1/4″ from the top edge and 2″ from the right edge. Adhere the smaller photo mat 2-1/2″ from the left edge and 3-3/4″ from the bottom edge.
Step 8: Cut one 5″ x 1-1/2″ piece of green plaid designer paper and adhere it 1″ from the bottom edge and against the right edge. Cut one 6″ x 1/2″ piece of light blue designer paper. Stencil the diamond lattice pattern with Songbird Blue Ink, then adhere it 1-1/4″ from the bottom edge and against the right edge.
Step 9: Finish the page with journaling, stickers and embellishments. Add foam squares for added dimension.
