Halloween Blog Hop!

‘Tis the season for tricks and treats and all things spooky! To celebrate, we’ve once again enlisted the creativity of some wildly talented CM Advisors to create lots of fun Halloween project ideas. They’ve each created a blog post featuring their ideas, and then will send you on to the next stop on the hop. First up is Sarah Fitzgerald’s post on her blog Click Write Share. She’ll then direct you on to the next stop on the hop – how fun!

After you’ve hopped through the blogs, stop back here and leave us a comment on which idea was your favorite. We’ll randomly choose one blog hopper who’s left a comment to receive a Halloween prize package shown below including the super sparkly Pumpkin Patch Album Cover plus the Trick or Treat Paper Pack and Stickers. We’ll even toss in a pack of White Pages and Protectors, too! We’ll choose our winner on Friday, October 23.

  1. Diana’s borders were terrific. I like to put a lot of photos on a page and can do that with a border for decoration. All of the ladies had fantastic ideas and I am sure some of the others will get incorporated into the Halloween pages I do of my grandkids.

  2. These ideas are great!! First time to participate in a blog hop. Took a lot if notes. Love??love??love CM!

  3. Loved Layout #1 Best!! The Spider was so creative and cute!!! Thanks for sharing!! I’d love to win this!! I’ve been working on a Halloween Album for my boys and these would be perfect!!

  4. I loved the boarders the best as I try to get as many photos on a page as I can but I do love the spider in the first stop, very creative. I also liked the way to make the fence in the second stop.

  5. Loved the trick or treat borders. Would love to win your fantastic prize to scrapbook my 3 grandchildren on Halloween! Thank you for the fun chance to win!

  6. Love the woven border idea in the “You & Me” layout. Excellent way to incorporate pattern paper without it overpowering the layout. Also a great way to use up leftover strips to make the most of gorgeous papers.

  7. The little special detail ideas are always my favorites: the fence folded back to be a gate, and bling used as scary eyes in the dark! Thanks!

  8. What amazingly creative ladies!! Every single blog had great ideas. I can’t choose my favorite, because they are ALL my favorite! :-) I’m truly inspired!

  9. Never gone through a blog hop before…I’m a fan! Fun to see all the ideas. My favorite was Stef’s tags and cards. Could also use them in layouts. Very fun Halloween papers!!

  10. I liked something in all! I would say my fave was the borders but I also love all the new ideas for making embellishments with our tools!

  11. All the ladies are so talented but have to say my favorite all the borders from D. Brinsley’s Memory Keeping Blog. I like the clean and crisp border ideas that can easily be adapted to other themes as well.

  12. There are some great ideas in all of the blogs. The one that stood out for me was Julie’s use of the Fast 2 Fab albums. As a long-time traditional scrapbooker, I haven’t really understood how to make the “pre-designed” albums my own. It was great to see some real life examples. I was really impressed with what Julie did with the fence as well! Never thought about using the same border on two sides of the paper!

  13. I really liked them all, but loved the #3 and #4 for using your tools to create those adorable extra’s, you can use those to easily put on a page to add that little extra to it! Really liked the boarders too, but have to say my favorites on this was the ‘creatures’ to make.

  14. So many talented contributors!!! Such cute ideas that I hope to share at my upcoming retreat. Thank you CM for all the amazing products and a BIG thank you to the Advisors on the Blog. I loved it all!!

  15. My favorite blog is Lisa’s Workshop Stop #4. I just love the way she made all those creatures using the Corner Rounder, & Circle cartridge of the Shape Maker System. I just love the bats!

  16. How in the world could I pick ONE as my favorite??? So many wonderful ideas…. Can I pick a single tool as my favorite instead?? WOW – the things folks came up to do with the border maker, from creaky fences to using the scraps from the filmstrp borbers for monster parts – this is the most versatile tool I think I own. It is now my #1 favorite !!! Terrific job everyone, and thanks so much for sharing

  17. I am always looking for new ideas, for myself to scrapbook my 7 children or for my customers. This is my first time blog hopping, thanks for the opportunity!

  18. I love the cute borders created by Dianna. The F2F pages that Julie turned into Halloween pages were super cute as well. It was hard to choose!

  19. So hard to pick a favorite because these ladies are so talented. But I did love all of Sarah’s layout ideas!

  20. The spider using the tag maker was the most ingenious yet simple idea. In terms of page layouts, the spooky one with the headstones and Count Dracula was darling! Thanks for the fun contest! You guys are the best!

  21. My favorites are Stef’s cards and tags. I’m a sucker for a cute handmade card….creative and adorable. I also like Diana’s borders a lot, too. Very practical ideas for someone who stares at a page not knowing what to put on it. Thanks for all the ideas, ladies!

  22. Awesome ideas! Thank you to all the bloggers for sharing your creativity. I found a lot here to love. My absolute favorite is Julie’s. Thank you thank you thank you for the beautiful, creative ways to “think outside the box” with F2F. People need to see how F2F pages can be a starting point for creativity.

  23. How do I start commenting about all of these fantastic ideas? From Sarah’s use of the tag maker for her spiders, to Julie Tambrini’s use of the border maker for her layouts, to Candace Bouldin’s cute characters using tools and punches, to Lisa Graham’s adorable scary creatures using rounders, punches and shape makers, to Fran Smitherman’s spooky faces using cardstock, to Diana Brinsley’s Trick or Treat Borders -She IS the Queen of Borders, and to Stephani Jone’s Cards and Tags with directions already written out for us to print. You are all spooktacular!!! Thank you all so very much!!!

  24. I loved the conversions that Julie Tambrini did, making the regular F2F pages into Halloween pages. The one that had the red stripe originally was my favorite.

  25. I love the Trick or Treat Borders by Diana Brinsley the Queen of Borders and the Cards and Tags from Stefani Jones with the instructions already made up for us to print. Thank you so much!!

  26. I loved Julie’s ideas because they were so simple, and showed how easy it was to make the F2F pages your own!! Great ideas all around ladies, and thanks for sharing.

  27. Hard to choose which I liked best. Loved all the “little embellishments” but my favorite were the borders.

  28. I enjoyed all the ideas the ladies created! Hard to choose just one, I loved the page layout by Candace Bouldin and the borders by Diane Brinsley were so awesome! A very talented group of ladies, thank you for the ideas and inspiration!crstllws66@gmail.com

  29. There are some talented CM Advisors out there!! I love all the ideas but think I like the spider the best. That was a very creative idea. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to scrap so thank you for all the awesome ideas!! Love the Blog Hop idea also. Keep up the great work CM!!

  30. WOW! We may not have a lot of tools right now, but these ladies came up with so many fun and simple ideas using the ones we have. So many fun ideas, but I think my favorites were the shapes made by Lisa Graham and the fence with the open gate. I really enjoyed ALL the pages and ideas.
