It is so hard to believe that we are talking about sending the littles (or bigs in my case) back to school already. Where does the summer go?
Make sure you capture all of the special moments when you are sending them back to learn. Their grade, the books they like to read, their teacher, their shoe size, their favorite color, etc.
The Bookworm Collection is a fabulous pairing to any layout related to school.
To create this layout, you will need:
- Bookworm Paper Pack
- Bookworm Embellishments
- Bookworm Stickers
- Navy ABC/123 Stickers
- Navy Cardstock
- 2″ Straight Trimmer
- Foam Squares
- Tape Runner
- Scissors
Step 1: Use the red patterned paper as the base for this layout.
Step 2: Cut a piece of the Navy Cardstock to measure 11″ x 11″. Adhere to the center of the red paper.
Step 3: Cut a piece from the yellow patterned paper to measure 10″ x 10″. Adhere to the top of the Navy Cardstock.
Step 4: Cut nine squares from random patterns of paper to measure 3″ x 3″. Adhere to the top of the yellow paper.
Step 5: Print and adhere five photos that measure 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ to the tops of random squares.
Step 6: Adhere stickers and embellishments to the remaining squares, layering them with Foam Squares for dimension.
Step 7: Journal as desired.
If your kiddos have not yet gone back to school–go ahead and create this layout ahead of time, and then the first day of school just snap a bunch of photos, print and add to the layout. You will feel accomplished!
Happy Creating!
Cute! Love seeing how you so easily layer the stickers into groupings. Also the easy measurements to make the squares spaced evenly. Thanks!
Love the page theme and how you’ve incorporated multiple photos- keep the ideas coming!
