Hi everybody! It’s almost that time of year when the little man starts up soccer again. I just received an email reminder to register him and I am getting excited! I love watching him play with his friends out on the field. It is such a joy to see him having such a great time playing outside and not on the computer.
To create this layout, you will need:
- Go! Fight! Win! Designer Paper Pack
- Go! Fight! Win! Stickers
- Circle Custom Cutting System Patterns and Red Blade
- Black Dual-Tip Pen
- 12-inch Straight Trimmer
- Foam Squares
- Tape Runner
- Ruler
For this layout, I decided to pull six of my favorite photos of him playing on the field from different angels. He looks like a pro! Once I had my photos printed on 4″x6″ photo paper, I used the medium Circle Custom Cutting System Patter to cut them into circles using the red blade inside the template. I adhered the photos onto the base of the layout approximately 2″ from the top of the base and 1″ from the bottom.
Then I started layering the stickers together, using a few foam squares to make the stickers pop off the page a little bit. That way, the layout doesn’t appear too flat. I used the “Game Day” word stickers, soccer ball, cleats and stars to create a fun border to place above the photos to help pull the layout together.
I used a Black Dual-Tip Pen and a ruler to hand-journal my story. I’ve become much more comfortable using my own hand-writing on my layouts. There was a time when I was so afraid to write on my layouts, but now, it is so easy, so normal.
Does your child have a favorite sport? We’d love to see your sports layouts using this fun collection! We love how this collection has a little of everything included for those who scrapbook a variety of sports themed projects.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
LOVE the use of circles for the photos. So “out of the box”. :-)
Thanks for sharing, NIcole!
Love the simplicity and multi photo layout. Great job!
